I want to be happy and show you pretty pictures of my yarn adventures, but I can't. I'm sad. In the last day we've learned that our good friend died suddenly,
another friend fell with a stroke and is in the hospital, and a family relative lost her battle with brain cancer. None were old. All are making me slow and contemplative. Stop, breathe, relax and enjoy. Be happy you can.

Heather, I'm so sorry to hear about your losses!
Have you heard about the book An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination: A Memoir by Elizabeth McCracken. Here is a review: http://www.npr.org/2011/01/04/132659775/this-exact-replica-is-more-than-just-a-tragedy
I generally steer away from sad stories, especially about children, but in many ways it is a story about how the author finds humor and opportunities to laugh while healing from a loss. I'm looking forward to reading this. Again, so sorry for your losses!
Hold the love you have for them close. Remember and smile and know that all any of us have is today. They would not want you to waste what is do very precious. Pass on that love in a smile to someone else. You always brighten my days. P
